Last Day of 2010

Well. A lot has happened this year. It seems like it has sped by like a japanese bullet train. Life is a lot different now. I moved, twice, and work at a place I actually enjoy. I've changed a lot, myself. I'm a very different person, with very different friends.

I think about myself in high school, and I would have never pictured myself to be where I am. I'm not saying that I'm all graduated and married and all that scary stuff, but I love where I am. I love my life. My closest friends are so dear to my heart. My family and I are strong together as siblings, through all the crazy shiz that has gone on with my father and his dealings. I feel like I have direction in my life.

I've done a lot of stupid things this year. I don't really want to expound on them, but just know that they're happened, and it was often. haha.

Among the stupid, there have been some pretty great/hilarious times of 2010 as well. My oldest niece was baptized! I'm glad she made that decision on her own. She's so smart and independent at her ripe old age of 8, it's pretty incredible. I have magnificent friends. They are so great. We're like a little family.

All in all, goodbye 2010, you weren't that bad, and without you I wouldn't be 23. baha!

12/09/2010

Today was a very long day, and I'm incredibly grateful it's over. I feel frazzled.

Influence

Today, a girl I once knew/hung out with started doing this thing. She's asking for numbers, 1 - 50million, and writing a personal message to them. So, the girl that I am, I gave her the number 1212. Fitting, isn't it? My birthday... a couple days away... anyway. I thought it was classic, and tres moi. This is what she wrote:

"when you left I was so confused about my life. LOL but seriously I knew when you did things wouldn't be the same anymore. We had some amazing times with Larsson and I love how you always made everyone feel comfortable. You were always making me laugh and people totally loved you. I always think about the time when we dressed up in random costumes and rode scooters around on halloween. ahahha"

I really don't know what to say to this. Was I really that influential in people's lives? Did things really change that drastically when I moved from little Clovis, California, leaving friends, acquaintances, hopeful lovers and all that? I really didn't think people would remember, because I was one of 900+ in my graduating class. That's a lot, compared to my real life graduating class of.. 400? Just shy of 400? I'm not too sure, but either way... It would make more sense for people to know me at Madison rather than Buchanan. Anyway.

It's interesting to literally see how we actually influence people's lives, and in this case, I'm glad that I made a pleasant impact on hers. She's the light of anyone's life, and I love her still. She's my party soulmate. :]]

Happy [now] Thursday! I promise I started this post before midnight. I get distracted easily... :]]

12/8/2010

I woke up very late today. haha. As you can see, I'm still in bed. I want to decorate for Christmas today, and since it's my day off, I feel it's the best time to do it.

Lo, I am needed for other things today, so that requires a shower and other preparations for going out into the real world, after a wonderful yoga/meditation sesh.

I love yoga, meditating, and Wednesdays.

Happy Wednesday!
