Sunday

Yesterday, I got a lot of new free stuff.

It's nice to see that my saddened state is revitalized into happiness when i spend my free money.

I love free money... and it was totally and incredibly free! No, I didn't steal it.

At work, they have these incentives called DownEast Bucks. They are pretty awesome, no lies. Since I worked so much this past holiday season, I got a ton.

Everything I'm wearing in this picture is from DownEast. haha. Represent!!

Happy Sunday, lovelies. :]

12/7/2010

Today I went to class. I went to work. I came home. It was warm [again] today, so I just wore a light cardigan, which I love. I love this unnaturally warm weather. It makes me happy, but I know I'll be even more sad when it leaves, because let's face it, it's inevitable.

Class was wonderful; I became better friends with this attractive man. I love how small this world is here in Provo, it's a lot smaller than people think.

Anywho, I saw him/heard him in class, then forever and a day later, an employee of mine knows him! Lo and behold, that is how it is written! Haha, so today he hung out at my work for who knows what reason, but I liked it. Fun times were had, and he's a silly man.

Very, incredibly, indubitably interesting people came in to my work today. They were, to say the least, very entertaining. Some were just plain rude, but hey. Some people are just that way, right?

I hope your Tuesday was INCREDIBLE.

Happy Tues!

Sorry it's been so long, but here is my new hair. If you can't tell, I've cut about 2 inches off and sliced in some blue.

Yoga-laties. Pi-Yo. Same diff.

So I went to go Yoga-laties. Not going to lie, it's a killer thing to do! I love it though. I feel so.. zen. It's an amazing feeling to just let go of everything and just be happy with yourself. Granted I'm super sore and I will be for the next few days, it felt amazing!

On the other hand, hip-hop wasn't as amazing as I wanted it to be.

It's like a limb-torn arm.

I went to church at my BYU-Idaho ward today. As usual, there is nothing worse than seeing skimpy dresses accompanied with leggings at sacrament. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. I don't see how people find that modest. I suppose that it shouldn't bother me as much as it does. Oh well.

On a happier side, church was wonderful. I love learning more about Joseph Smith. He was an amazing man! Goodness gracious.

tipless

I cut off the tip of my finger today. It was awesome.

In other news, I love slacklining. [not that it's new news, just reiterated.]

dreams

Dreams are very interesting things. I looked up dreams on Wiki, and this is what it told me:

There is no universally agreed biological definition of dreaming. General observation shows that dreams are strongly associated with raid eye movement (REM) during which an electroencephalogram shows brain activity to be most like wakefulness. Participant-non remembered dreams during non-REM sleep are normally more mundane in comparison. During a typical lifespan, a human spends a total of about six years dreaming (which is about 2 hours each night). It is unknown where in the brain dreams originate, if there is a single origin for dreams or if multiple portions of the brain are involved, or what the purpose of dreaming is for the body or mind.

During REM sleep, the release of certain neurotransmitters is completely suppressed. As a result, motor neurons are not stimulated, a condition known as REM atonia. This prevents dreams from resulting in dangerous movements of the body.

So, what that tells me is that a dream is maybe originating from certain parts of your brain when neurons fire, which results in dreaming. I don't know how to explain it to you, but I understand what I said. :]] But either way, dreams are interesting. Like my dream last night.

Before I fell asleep, I wrote in my journal--which hasn't happened in ages--about how much I miss my friends that are on missions. I fell asleep, and I dreamed about two out of the three of them. (no, not daniel... as that is to be expected.) But one was very hectic, and unruly, the other, more of a sweet gentle dream... just.. comfortable.

I don't know. I find it interesting.

Excitement's in the Air

All I have to say is that I'm excited to move home. I miss living in Rexburg, and I miss my friends. I love my family and the fact that they're letting me live with them while I go to school. I think I've experienced enough roommate drama and spectacular late nights with the people I call friends. (no cynicism intended.) I'm just excited to be there for people who want me there for them.

I love Idaho. (although I thought I would never admit it.)
