Acupuncture.

Has anyone ever gotten acupuncture? it sounds interesting.
...and terrifying. but it sounds like it will work.
I'm down for new experiences, and this one sounds like a doozey.
Happy Thursday!!

Dilemmas of Downtown Provo

So, I take the bus around town. It's nothing too exciting; getting up early, getting home later than usual. It's nothing that I get upset about, mostly because I don't have to pay for the expenses of a vehicle.

The bus that I take to work is on University Ave, right by the Zion's Bank. I love walking there, because it's mostly lit by street lamps in the mornings, IE, no potentially scary people around.

I went into work this morning earlier than normal. We do this thing called Blueprint, and we switch around the clothing in our store and feature all the new product. I very much loved walking to my bus stop today, because it was quiet... dark, quiet, peaceful, cold enough to wear my peacoat. It was amazing.

This morning, there was a homeless man, sleeping on a bench. I had brought some breakfast bars with me for my early morning hunger, and I grabbed more than expected. He was sleeping, and I'm sure he sleeps there every night... I see him there most nights when I come home. Anyways, I wanted to give him one of my bars, just because I knew I wouldn't eat all of them.

So here is my dilemma. do I wake him, at 6:45am, to give him food, or do I leave him be, so he can get his blessed sleep, and have him possibly not eat anything that morning.

This has been riddling my mind since this morning.

What would you have done?

Weekend Trips

I went on a mini vacation this weekend to visit my loves in Idaho. I love going on weekend vacations most of the time, but this one seemed very... hectic. Just, sometimes, I feel like I give a lot. Haha, by no means am I complaining... well, maybe I am. It's my fault though. I have this incessant need to help people, and the fact that I'm stubborn and won't give up until I get my way, well... you know the rest.

I work a lot, and I love it. That's all I will say. haha.

ANYWAY. I love my friends!

On Friday, I drove to Pocatello and met up with my bestie Phillip and met his friends there who were SO sweet and SO inviting, it was pleasant. I was SOOO out of it though! So funny. I remember staring intently at Anelicia trying to focus on what she was saying... it didn't really work, but I'm sure that I was pretty funny. It was sooo nice to spend some time with Phillip, though. He's one of my favorites.

After stopping in Pocatello, I felt a lot better, so I drove up to Idaho Falls to meet up with Xiomara, Chantel and Treven & company. I don't remember the rest of their names, but hey. It's alright.

On Saturday, I got to see my lovely Ethan, who is moving to Seattle on Sunday. He's so amazing, and I will miss him dearly. We went and made an appearance at the NOW Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kinghorn's wedding reception! I AM SO HAPPY for them! They are so cute, and so perfect for each other. :] Anyway, Ethan and I went to visit my family, and then we headed to Idaho Falls and had dinner with Phillip at Garcia's. The best fake mexican in SE Idaho! If you like Gringo's, you'll never like it again once you go to Garcia's. It's in Idaho Falls, by the mall. GO THERE.

Overall, a most relaxing/fun vacation. AND. Phillip is coming to see me next weekend. DOUBLE RAINBOW!

Books to Read

My manager and close friend Peter and I are starting a DownEast Outfitters book club. Consisting of two members. We're awesome!

But really. So today, we both decided that we were going to look for books to read together. He's never read The Giver or To Kill a Mockingbird. So we've decided to read To Kill a Mockingbird together. I love this book! I'm very excited to re-read this book for the third time. BUT.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fantastic read? Please, let me know!

Happy Wednesday!

PS. In ordinary Felisa fashion, here is a song to tickle your fancy. :]

Baking

So, I hate baking. With a passion. It takes way too long, and makes a mess of my smallish kitchen. But today, I felt like baking. So I made the most time consuming cake I've ever made. I call it Rainbow Bright Cake.

<--- The Beginning.

This is rainbow cake half finished.

As you can tell, yellow tried to overtake green. But green held it's own.
